Article 1 – Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

ACL means the Australian Consumer Law.
Business / we / us means mademodo.com.
Consumer / you means a person acquiring goods for personal, domestic, or household use.
Cooling-off period means the period during which you may exercise your right of withdrawal (if applicable).
Day means a calendar day.
Distance contract means a contract concluded online via mademodo.com.
Products means goods offered on mademodo.com.

These Terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made via mademodo.com.

By using our website and placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.


Article 4 – Offers and Product Information

All offers are non-binding and may be changed at any time.

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions and images. However:

  • colours may vary depending on your screen

  • minor differences do not constitute defects

Errors (including pricing errors) are not binding.

All prices are listed in the applicable currency and:

  • may exclude shipping

  • may exclude import duties and GST for international shipments


Article 5 – Orders and Contracts

A contract is formed when:

  • you place an order, and

  • we confirm acceptance via email

We reserve the right to:

  • refuse or cancel orders

  • limit quantities

  • request additional verification

Orders are subject to product availability.


Article 6 – Consumer Rights (Important Notice)

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL, you are entitled to:

  • a replacement or refund for a major failure

  • compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

  • repairs or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality

Goods must be:

  • of acceptable quality

  • fit for purpose

  • match their description


Article 7 – Returns and Change of Mind

We offer a 30-day return period for change of mind (if applicable).

Conditions:

  • item must be unused and in original packaging

  • return must be requested within 30 days of delivery

  • item must be returned within 14 days after approval

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


Article 8 – Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 14 days after:

  • receiving the returned product, or

  • receiving proof of return shipment

Original shipping costs may not be refundable unless required by law.


Article 9 – Exclusions (Change of Mind)

Returns are not accepted for:

  • personalised or custom-made products

  • hygiene products once opened

  • items not suitable for return due to their nature

This does not affect your rights under the ACL.


Article 10 – Pricing

Prices may change at any time before an order is confirmed.

We are not liable for typographical errors.

For international orders:

  • import duties and GST may apply

  • these are the responsibility of the customer


Article 11 – Delivery

We aim to deliver within the estimated timeframe provided.

However, delays may occur due to:

  • logistics

  • customs processing

  • external factors

If your order cannot be fulfilled, you will be offered:

  • a refund, or

  • a replacement

Risk passes to you upon delivery.


Article 12 – Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss

  • our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product

This limitation does not apply to rights under the ACL.


Article 13 – Payments

Payments must be made using the methods provided at checkout.

You agree to provide accurate billing information.

If payment is not received, we may cancel your order.
